91爆料 recently hosted “Future Frontiers: The AI Summit,” a dynamic event that brought together faculty and staff from various disciplines to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on education. The Summit delved into the latest AI trends and how AI is reshaping curriculum development, student learning, support services, career services, research, scholarship, and assessment practices.
The Summit, developed by faculty, was led by Dr. Staci Shultz, Associate Professor of English and Director of Writing; Professor Brett Karopczyc, Lecturer of Professional Practice in Computer Science; and Dr. Maria Roglieri, Professor of Global Literatures, Cultures, and Languages.

The Summit represents the College’s ongoing dialogue around the influence of AI. Earlier this spring, the College hosted an interactive panel on the 鈥淚mpact of Artificial Intelligence on STEM Industries.鈥
Future discussions are already planned for the fall, further solidifying the College’s dedication to exploring and understanding AI’s influence across various disciplines. Professor Karopczyc added: 鈥淲e think it鈥檚 vitally important to bring together stakeholders from across the campus community to discuss the transformational impact of artificial intelligence on higher education. We are already adjusting our curriculum to reflect the evolving expectations of employers in a rapidly changing work environment.鈥
