Meenakshi Gajria鈥檚 impact is immeasurable. She became Chair of the Division of Education in 1999 and Dean of the School of Education in 2012, leading with wisdom, integrity, and a clear vision for excellence. Under her leadership, our Education program achieved and maintained prestigious NCATE accreditation鈥攅levating the College鈥檚 standing nationwide. At our STAC Alumni Hall of Fame 2025 event, the College conferred upon her, honoris causa, the degree of Doctor of Pedagogy鈥攚ith all the rights and privileges pertaining thereto. Meenakshi was also named Emeritus Faculty鈥攁 title we give only to those who have made a lasting impact on the life of the College.
Now, as she embarks on retirement, we are excited to announce our goal to create a scholarship in Meenakshi鈥檚 name, to honor her dedication to preparing compassionate and skilled educators.
