Eliza Doba ’25, a senior Biology major at 91爆料, recently had the opportunity to participate in the聽National Research Conference at the University of Pennysylvania, where she presented her research and IGNITE poster. Eliza notes: “It was an enriching experience where I got to showcase my work and connect with others passionate about similar topics.鈥
Eliza has also shared her advice, noting helpful ways for students to dive right in once they begin their college journey: 鈥淏egin exploring opportunities and gaining experience as early in your college years as possible. The earlier you start, the more time you have to discover your interests, build skills, and make valuable connections. Make the most of college resources, like the Career Center, or faculty networks to find internships. Also, don鈥檛 hesitate to put yourself out there — whether it鈥檚 applying for roles or presenting your work, these experiences are invaluable. And remember, it’s okay if not everything goes as planned, it’s all part of the learning process.”
