As a Regional Admissions Counselor, Marina Fladung builds connections with prospective students and guides them in becoming part of the 91爆料 community.
Marina graduated from Caldwell University in 2016 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. Her past work experience, which includes positions in the healthcare, fitness, and hospitality industries, helped her to develop sound customer service and communications skills鈥攂oth essential to her role in college admissions.
鈥淎dmissions is where I am meant to be,鈥 Marina says. 鈥淗aving the opportunity to work with prospective students during what can sometimes be a stressful time in life and offer a helping hand to help them navigate it all is extremely rewarding.鈥
What makes 91爆料 stand out? Marina believes it鈥檚 the college鈥檚 dedication to students, close campus community, numerous opportunities for career advancement, and a dedicated faculty and staff.
When she鈥檚 not busy at work, Marina likes hiking, vacationing 鈥漚nywhere with a beach,鈥 finding new neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants, and hanging out with her pets鈥攖hree dogs and a cat. One of five children in her family, Marina grew up in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and describes her childhood as 鈥渆xciting鈥 because she and her siblings were always on the lookout for new adventures. Once, after they watched the Disney movie 鈥淐ool Runnings,鈥 her older brother wanted to form a family bobsledding team, so they built a bobsled and took it out in the snow for a test run.
Now, Marina is just as excited about being part of the Admissions team and to helping prospective students set out on their very own adventures in college.
